Our range of bungalow designs UK cover a wide spectrum of British and international styles, including country cottage, traditional and contemporary.

Bungalow design has come a long way since the boxy original homes first seen in the 1930s, both in city areas and in coastal resorts. These days, a single storey home can be just as light, airy and spacious as those with more than one floor. We work hard to make sure that life on one level does not mean small rooms, narrow corridors and a lack of storage space. We constantly work on updating our designs so that they pack as much into a smaller footprint as they can.

Our plans are based upon bungalow designs which have previously been drawn up for other customers to submit with planning applications. In putting together our bungalow designs UK Building Regulations have been taken into account along with other best practice standards such as the Code for Sustainable Homes and the Lifetime Homes requirements. If you decide that one of our bungalow designs is right for you, you can do so with confidence knowing that all doors are wheelchair accessible, level access is provided at the main entrance and that bedrooms are large enough to comfortably accommodate double beds with plenty of space to move around.

For the sake of clarity, we consider anything with a single storey to be a bungalow. Anything of one-and-a-half or one-and-three-quarter storeys can be found in the Dormer Bungalows category.
